Photographic Prints

Almost all images on Lodge Photo can be purchased as a professional print on archival-quality photographic paper.

Each photograph is hand finished on high quality photographic paper (Fuji Crystal Archive) using specialized large format photographic laboratory equipment. The process is "color managed" end-to-end, which ensures vivid reproduction of the full range of color and contrast. You are assured of a colorful, high quality photograph with the longevity you expect from a fine art print.

How to order

Find the image you want, and click on the "Buy Print" button below it.
Select the size and finish you want and click the "Add to cart" button.
To complete your purchase, click "Checkout" from the Shopping Cart.
Check the shopping card summary, and if it's OK, click "Checkout".
If you don't have a PayPal account and want to pay by credit card, select "Click here" at the bottom of the PayPal screen.
Enter your card details and confirm payment.

After ordering

You will promptly receive an e-mail confirming the details and amount.
Once payment is received, processing of your print begins.
Printing takes 2-3 working days, and FedEx ground shipping 3-5 working days.

Shipping and Handling

There is a base fee of $10 shipping and handling for all orders. Shipping and handling for each framed print is $5. There is no additional shipping charge for each fine art print -- they are covered by the basic charge. Fine Art Prints are shipped via FedEx Ground and Framed Prints are sent Priority Mail. Faster shipping is available -- contact me directly.

Example

Suppose you order two fine art prints and two framed prints. The total shipping charge will be $10 (base fee), no additional cost for the two fine art prints, and $10 for the two framed prints ($5 each) for a total of $20.

Returns

All prints and frames are carefully packaged in either flat packs or tubes and should arrive in perfect condition. We know that problems sometimes occur and if your print arrives damaged or there is a quality problem, we will replace it. Contact us to arrange a free replacement.

Exchanges

Within 14 days of delivery, you may exchange your print for any other Lodge Photo print for a $10 shipping fee. The new print will be shipped once the original is returned.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. What kind of photographic paper is used?

A. Fuji Crystal Archive professional grade. This is a museum-quality photographic paper with fine grain and rich color, and the highest archival longevity of any photographic paper available today. When mounted under glass or acrylic out of direct sunlight, your print will last at least 75 years.

Q. Should I choose glossy or matte finish?

A. There is no "right" answer; it is entirely a matter of personal preference. Matte finish is less reflective, but glossy gives colors a little more saturation.

Q. Does the image fill the paper, or will there be borders?

A. There is an 0.25 inch white border around the print to allow for mounting. An image's aspect ratio (width to height) does not always match that of the photographic paper. In those cases, the image will be enlarged and cropped to fit the paper. This ensures that there is no extra"white space" in the finished print.

Q. When will I get my print?

A. Once payment is received, normal turn-around time is 4-8 working days (1-3 to print, then 3-5 to deliver). Contact us for expedited shipping rates.

Q. Can you ship outside the USA?

A. Shipping rates to other countries vary by country, and I can provide you with pricing upon request.

Q. Do I have to pay sales tax?

A. Prints that have California shipping or billing addresses will be charged 8.5% sales tax per California state law.
